Spiral Sausage with Peppers and Onions

This dish could not be easier! I cut one onion and two peppers into strips, then cooked them in a Dutch oven with the sausage.

Boerewors sausage
Olive oil
Other ingredients
2 bell peppers, sliced
1 onion, sliced
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 cup broth
Chopped parsley for garnish
Heat oil in a large Dutch oven. Add peppers and onions. Sauté for 8 minutes or until tender. Move veg to the side and place sausage in pan. Leave undisturbed for 6 minutes. Stir veg so it doesn’t burn. Add broth to pan to losen sausage and flip. Cover and cook for another 6-8 minutes or until sausage is cooked through. Serve with chopped parsley. This would be excellent with roasted potatoes as the gravy in the pan is so flavorful.
