Since there isn’t a lot of produce coming in yet, we’re filling the shares with lots of the yummy staples we offer, and that just happened to lead to a holy trinity of deliciousness in one share: peanut butter, dates and honey.
These three items each on their own represent dessert to me, and it feels like cheating to call it healthy food just by mixing in some oats. Okay, I’m in–cheaters always win!
Here’s a blog with a nice looking recipe forĀ Peanut Butter, Date and Oat Bites, and I would try this out using our Mound City Peanut Butter, Date Lady Dates and a touch of Hilty Honey (all of which I always have on hand, naturally). One thing I usually have on hand also is Patric chocolate, and I would venture to guess that a little nugget of chocolate in the middle of each of these would be a welcome surprise.
