I Drink For Farmers!

With Kevin’s role as Slow Food President, we are enjoying being more involved with our beloved Slow Food St. Louis, and want to invite our members to come play at fun events like this one next Tuesday the 14th! Wheatacular is part of the Slow Taste series, where you can learn something while enjoying local offerings. Since Slow Food is committed to continuing their Biodiversity Grants for our small farmers (remember all the Nolte heirloom squash varieties last winter?), we say we’re sipping to support local food. Won’t you join us? Plus the brewery owners are Fair Shares members!

Please join Slow Food STL for “Wheatacular”, our second beer event in a series of Slow Tastes. Local brewers will discuss their beers in a tasting spanning the gamut of wheat styles, including those brewed in American, German, and Belgian traditions. This is a great opportunity to learn more about wheat beers, and to compare the many variations of wheat beer produced in the vibrant Saint Louis craft beer scene. Educational and fun!
