Quick Meal of the Week: Granola Yogurt Strawberry Yum Yum

When strawberries come in season, I want to eat them on my granola and yogurt. If using plain yogurt, I like to add a bit of honey. Although we didn’t include it in the photo, we think a drizzle of Salted Caramel Chocolate Sauce from Bittersweet Chocolates would really sweeten the deal.

UPDATE: I made the world’s most delicious yogurt parfait for dessert using the following ingredients:

-regular plain or vanilla yogurt
-coconut (I know, not local, but I’m still obsessed)
-fresh strawberries (can’t wait for blueberries and other fruit!)
-nuts (pecans, peanuts, cashews, macadamias, etc.)
-Bittersweet Truffles Salted Caramel Chocolate Sauce
-nut butter (one layer had a couple pea sized chunks of almond butter, another had peanut butter
-honey (if using plain yogurt, otherwise vanilla tends to be sweet enough, IMO)
-Creme de Cacao and Chambord Liqueurs (for the adults)

A couple of layers in stemmed glassware makes a lovely presentation and a knock-your-socks-off-delicious dessert that will have you fantasizing about the next one. The second night was a little different, but equally delicious. Looking forward to round three…
