Roasted Poblano Peppers

I love roasting peppers! If you have an Air Fryer it’s so easy! If you don’t, I’ll give you those instructions as well. You can roast any pepper this way. Jalapeño peppers get a bit milder when roasted. Red bell peppers are delicious roasted and puréed in a sauce. I roast a lot of my hot peppers and peel them. They freeze perfectly and are delicious chopped up in chilies, soups, cornbread, casseroles, Mexican dishes, or basically anything you want to add a kick to. They are even great on a pizza.

INGREDIENTS
Peppers of choice from your share.

METHOD
Air Fryer: place peppers on tray in air fryer. Turn temp to 400 and set timer for 15 minutes or until pepper skin is blistered and peppers are wilted. Remove peppers from air fryer and place in a large bowl. Place a plate or foil to cover bowl. Let peppers steam and cool. Peel and remove seeds. Freeze roasted peppers by wrapping tightly in plastic or foil.
Oven Method: turn broiler on and place an oven rack 6 inches from broiler. Place peppers on rimed baking sheet lined with parchment. Broil for 5 minutes or until peppers are blistered. Flip peppers and blister other side. Place in bowl and follow directions above.
You can also roast them on the grill. I prefer the air fryer method because you don’t have to flip them.
