Overnight Oats with Fresh Figs
When figs are in season, I love pairing them with this easy overnight oats recipe.
INGREDIENTS
Fair Shares
1 cup oats
1 cup milk
1 tsp honey
1 cup plain yogurt
Other ingredients
2 tbsp chia seeds
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Divvy into 4 containers and refrigerate overnight. Chop a few figs and stir in to serve.
Peaches are also excellent with overnight oats. You can add nuts if you like. Add a dash of Vanilla extract if you’re feeling fancy. Add more honey if you like it sweeter. You can even stir in protein powder. I love the versatility of this.
