Wagyu Smashburgers
Ok they aren’t really smashed, but I thawed the meat before the storm rolled in and by dinner time our power wasn’t restored. I had to use a flashlight. Thank goodness for a gas stove!
INGREDIENTS
Fair Shares
Ground Wagyu beef
Olive oil
Other Ingredients
Cheese (you could use fair shares cheese but my husband insisted on American)
Buns
Salt and Pepper
METHOD
Heat a cast iron skillet with olive oil on medium to high heat for about 5 minutes. Shape burgers into loose balls. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. I divided into 7 balls. Place patty into hot pan and smash down with spatula. Cook for a few minutes and flip. Add a slice of cheese to each patty and let sit for a few minutes stack one patty on top of another and set aside on a clean plate. Continue with the rest of the meat. Place a patty stack on a bun and add your favorite toppings.
