Stringbean Coffee Cold Brew
Stringbean Coffee Cold Brew
Cold Brew coffee (not iced coffee) uses cold water to brew the coffee for an extended period of time. Cold Brew is sweeter, less acidic than coffee made with hot water.
Directions:
– use 1 tablespoon of coarsely ground coffee (Redeye works great) for each 4 ounces of cold,
filtered water
– slowly add water and stir for 30 seconds
– cover with lid and put in refrigerator to steep for 24-30 hours
– Stir gently before straining
– Enjoy!
– Keep refrigerated, it lasts a while
Brewers:
– glass bottle
– French press
– Pete’s choice a 51 oz. Bodum Cold French Press with lid (Amazon has it)
Uses:
– because the water was never heated you don’t get that funky reheated taste if you were to warm
it in the microwave.
– Cold Brew makes great ice cubes to be added to your favorite iced coffee beverage
– Use as ingredient calling for coffee flavor (drinks, ice cream, etc..)
– Just drink it… over ice, with cream, straight up

1 cup (1 can) sweetened condensed milk
