Carl Saunders from Yellow Dog Farms says that his spring seeds are being planted in the greenhouse this week. His high-tunnel spring mix is getting put into the ground with an estimated initial cutting for the first week of Fair Shares’ season 6. The red lettuce goes in the ground first followed by 5 or 6 other varieties in the subsequent weeks. The first two inches of garlic scapes are slowly poking their way out of the ground in what looks to be a good crop.
