Discover the remarkable history of bison in North America, their near-extinction, and recent conservation efforts. Klondike Bison & Bee, a Known & Grown farmer, reintroduced bison to their family farm in 2019.
Participate in a hands-on field day, helping clear brush and old wire from fence lines while safely observing the bison in their corral. The day ends with a communal potluck featuring bison chili. Bring work gloves, water, and a potluck dish to share. Optional tools like battery-operated weed whackers, hedgers, or loppers are welcome.

9:45 am: Arrival and Welcome
10:00 am: Mandatory Safety Briefing
10:15 am – 12:30 pm: Community work on the farm
12:30 – 2:00 pm: Potluck and discussion around the fire
Follow signs to park near the barns. Safety briefing at 10:00 am is required. Children aged 10+ can participate with a parent or guardian.
