Quick Candied Pecans

It’s Fall y’all!!

My fave time of the year. I started this morning with a fall harvest yogurt bowl. The only cooking required is the quick candied pecans I made last night. They are worth it!

INGREDIENTS
Fair Shares
2 tbsp butter
3 cups pecans
Other Ingredients
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup water

METHOD
Preheat oven to 350 and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large skillet on the stove, melt butter. Add pecans and stir, cooking for 3 minutes. Add brown sugar and stir till sugar dissolves. Add cinnamon and vanilla to combine. Add water and cook till water evaporates, just a few minutes. Transfer pecans to parchment lined pan and bake for 10-12 minutes. Let cool completely.
For breakfast I just chopped up an apple and added some Windcrest Dairy yogurt to a bowl. Sprinkled a bit of cinnamon and drizzled maple syrup on it and added a handful of pecans. They are SO GOOD!! I’m gonna put them in salads too!
