Stir-Fried Cabbage

This is a super easy side dish or you can add protein and make it a main.

 

INGREDIENTS
Fair Shares
Cabbage
2-3 carrots
2 tbsp olive oil
2-3 garlic cloves
1 tsp soy sauce
2 tsp Oomame Japanese seasoning (or Chinese five spice powder plus 1/2 tsp each ground ginger and cayenne)
 
Other ingredients
2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
Black sesame seeds
 
METHOD
Shred cabbage and carrots. Mince garlic. Heat oil in a large skillet or wok. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Add cabbage several handfuls at a time and sauté. Add soy, vinegar, carrot, and seasoning. Stir to combine and heat till cabbage is tender. Garnish with sesame seeds.
