What's in a Share

Our full and half share members will receive a $50 share (the Mini-season share is 30% smaller) of local, fresh, and sustainably-produced food from our farmers and artisans. So, what’s in a share? Produce will vary based on season and what our producers are growing at the time. In addition to produce, expect a variety of meats, dairy products, baked goods, coffee, chocolates and canned goods depending on the season.

Check the list at your pickup site before leavingto make sure you got everything. The list at your pickup site may be different from the list in the newsletter.

Note that lists at are in order of frozen items, then refrigerated items, followed by dry, to help you know how to store your food properly. If you are unsure how to store your food properly, just ask--we want you to experience the food the way our producers want you to enjoy it!

New members will receive two Fair Shares bags--please bring your bags every week. If you prefer to use your own bags, a box, a cooler, a laundry basket, or a paint bucket, that is up to you, but please, keep something in your cars to carry your groceries home in for those unexpected days when something comes up.

Here are a few examples of what a $50 share will look like each season. (The Mini-season shares are ~$33 worth of food, and also always include a protein and another non-perishable or two, along with fresh produce in season.)

Testimonials

We are very happy to have our products included in shares through Fair Shares.  The folks at Fair Shares have set-up a great distribution schedule that works with smaller scale local farmers taking into account weekly and seasonal limitations in harvesting. The staff at Fair Shares are easy to work with, being both friendly and professional.  They have been very straightforward about their needs and those that the share members represent. We look forward to growing with Fair Shares!
