If you need to switch your pickup day, email us before 10a.m. Wednesday. Selecting the different day in the store is not the way to do it!

VACATION SHARE HOLD INFO: Please note that we order the produce on Monday, so we MUST have share holds in place before 8:00a.m. so that we can figure our numbers properly.
|
Although you may put your share on hold, it would be EXTREMELY helpful to us and our farmers, who have upped production this season, if you found someone who might like to buy your share for the weeks you're gone, to try it out. Maybe you want to pay your petsitter or house sitter with some food, or maybe you have to give a present to someone, and we can make it easy on you!

Fair Shares October Ohm Break 10/4-8/21
Speaking of vacation, heaven knows we all need one. Since 4th of July didn't happen during pickups, we won't get one until the fall. Normally we take a September Sanity Break, but this year it will happen the following week, so mark your calendars (and plan your own vacations accordingly!). Half share members, note that this will be Week 29, so ODD-week members will have a whole month off, and EVEN-week members will be none the wiser. This is your first of fourteen notices! 😂

Cucumber, Tomato, Peach and Corn Salad

We have everything in the shares for this--oh wait...whatever tomatoes, take your sweet time. I'm not waiting for you because corn, peaches and cucumbers may WANT you but they don't NEED you. (Note: I found some tomatoes to sell in the store, so I take back half the things I just said in the previous sentence.)

Tip: How to de-cob your corn
|
|
Yay corn! The first thing I do when corn comes in is rip back the husk and eat an ear raw. In fact, I eat most of my corn raw, in salads, like my favorite one noted to the left.
|
All you need is a deep bowl or pot and a sharp knife to make cutting your corn off the cob a breeze. Of course, a shallow bowl or plate is an option if you like cleaning up bits of corn kernel and a spray of corn juice (really? corn juice?). First husk the corn and brush off all the silks…

If you have questions or an issue to resolve, please email info@fairshares.org. We get over 400 order confirmation emails in the orders@fairshares.org account and WE DO NOT CHECK THEM, so if you want a reply, use info@fairshares.org, which goes to both Jamie and Sara, and one of us will see it!

The share clipboards below will include the fresh produce on your list, but the cart in your Farmigo account lists only the tradable items in your share. You must spend the total credit value in your cart but you are welcome to buy extra.

Please check the descriptions of items! Some things are sold by the pound so the actual price will be different from what's listed in the store. If what's in your bag is not what you were expecting, give it back. If you're at the Mothership, you may be able to choose something else.

Pro Tip: You can browse the store when it's "closed" by logging out of your account.
