We'll see all Full Share, Mini Share, and ODD-week Half Share members this week.

This email is how we communicate with members. Please at least scan it so you know any important information. If you have questions, just reply to this email.

Fair Shares Season End

Season 16 ends at Week 50 on March 6&7, meaning THERE IS ONLY ONE WEEK LEFT AFTER THIS WEEK! ODD-week half shares, this is your final pickup, so be sure to stock up. We have a three-week break (with a shopping day in the middle, see details below) and will resume with Season 17 on April 3&4.

Mid-break Shopping Day Thursday March 21st, 3-6pm

Come to the Mothership to pick up some staples--eggs, cheese, meat, pasta, all the goods, to get you through the break and hold you over until the start of Season 17, Week 1 on April 3 &4 (even- week half shares will begin the following week. Jamie has contacted regular milk-order members about milk for the final week and during the break. If you would like to be included in that list, let us know. We may get some fresh produce in as well if available that week.

Week 49 Update

The warmer weather is bringing us more greenhouse greens this week! This is the last week of the season for ODD-week Half Share members. If you order the Shiitake Mushrooms this week, they are a bit younger than usual, but that means you don’t have to remove the stems before cooking them. You can throw them in your stock bag as usual, though!

CSA Week

Fair Shares Overnight Oats

The texture of overnight oats is different from the cooked version, but still very satisfying, and you can heat them up quickly if you prefer them warm.

Sara's edit: I've been on a nachos kick, and this recipe would be great to use layered with tortilla chips instead of the tortillas, for some crispy addition to the mix.

Layers of roasted chicken, squash, beans, cheese and sauce with tortillas. You can really add anything to this, as long as you have enough cheese and sauce, it will be delicious.

FS Delivery Survey

Thanks to everyone who has filled out the survey to help us determine if home delivery is a worthy endeavor for us in the future. If you haven't yet completed the survey linked in the title, please do so by end of day this Thusday, Leap Day! It should only take 1-2 minutes to fill out.
