NO WEDNESDAY PICKUPS (see note below)
We'll see all THURSDAY Full Share, Mini Share, and ODD-week Half Share members this week.

LOGIN HERE to make your trades (or don't and we'll put together your standard share). Select your time and ADD it in your cart (or don't an you might have to wait for us to put your share together). Make sure that you receive your order confirmation email, or your order didn't go through.

Note that you may update your cart as many times as you like. Your share will be packed for you whether you select a time or not, it just helps us have it ready when you arrive.

🌨 ❄️ WEDNESDAY SNOW DAY 🌨 ❄️
NO PICKUPS WEDNESDAY! Sorry for the short notice everyone, but we've decided to cancel Wednesday pickups this week. Because having everyone come Thursday is utter chaos, and because we have already purchased the food, rather than just putting everyone on hold, we will be adding the credit in your carts for you to spend next week (or at your next scheduled pickup). We can handle a few extra pickups on Thursday, but will limit the number of switches if we get too many requests.

If you have a milk order, or just need a few things you would like to pick up, you may come during Thursday pickups at the Mothership, 3:30-7:00 p.m. or Friday 11:00-3:00.

Since we got these gorgeous little Bibb lettuce heads I thought this would be a perfect dish and I was correct! My version is much healthier than the chain restaurant and it uses several Fair Shares ingredients.

Two-Meat Chili with Black Beans and Roasted Sweet Potatoes

This may be my best chili recipe! While reading several chili recipes I saw one author state that 3 tbsp cornmeal and 1 can of beer gave their chili thickness and depth. They were correct!

The Countdown Continues
Fair Shares Season 15 ends on Week 50. After this week's pickups there are FIVE weeks remaining before the three-week break. Please mark your calendars for the following dates:

Notes on Trades and Orders
If you have questions or an issue to resolve, please email info@fairshares.org rather than replying to the email or we may not see it.

The share clipboards below include the fresh produce on your list, but the cart in your Farmigo account lists only the tradable items in your share. You must spend the total credit value in your cart but you are welcome to buy extra.
|
Note regarding "Choice" items in your shares: The tradable "choice" items will be in your cart, and you can click the item to see what choices it mentions in the description, then make your selection via the online store by placing your choice in your cart and deleting the "choice" from your cart. For the produce wildcards and choices, we can't always guarantee whether you'll get to make the choice or we do--that's the CSA aspect of our program.
|
Please check the descriptions of items! Some things are sold by the pound so the actual price will be different from what's listed in the store. If what's in your bag is not what you were expecting, give it back. If you're at the Mothership, you may be able to choose something else.

Pro Tip: You can browse the store when it's "closed" by logging out of your account.
|

Please note that we will be trying out new methods for distributing the newsletter and food lists, which may require a bit more clicking through to access your info. We will likely be sending the newsletter link on the website via an email alert through Farmigo. Due to the scheduling timeline their platform uses, these newsletters will come out early Tuesday morning, before we can have the store open for ordering. The online store will have specific hours of 4:00p.m. Tuesday - 10:30a.m. Wednesday.

The food lists will also be in the newsletter as a link to the post our website, which will allow us to make any required updates based on Tuesday delivery changes. Members should view the food lists just before ordering to make sure it's up to date.
|
For those still following Sara and Stephen's adventures of moving onto the sailing catamaran in Argentina, our move date is finally set and approaching quickly (Feb. 27th), so we're making these adjustments to make sure we're still able to get the weekly info out while she is out of the country.
