A Special Thanksgiving Message from Sara and Jamie

As we approach this holiday, we feel it's time to announce that this will be Sara's final Thanksgiving in St. Louis. After 30 years here together, Sara and Stephen will be leaving next June in preparation of moving aboard their new sailing catamaran!

We are intent on finding someone(s) who will take ownership of Fair Shares with the goal of carrying on our mission. Jamie, Lindy, Arianna, Joe, Tina, and Cole, along with our countless invaluable volunteers will continue on, and Sara will work from afar as long as is necessary to train her replacement(s). Jamie and Lindy would like to step back over the upcoming years, and our hope is to collect a bit of the sweat equity we've put into this labor of love for the past 14 seasons.

We know that we have created a complicated program, but feel that it works for our members who are committed to our mission. We are seeking investors and worker-owners who would be motivated to grow and continue Fair Shares, and wanted to get the word out to our members first. Some of you may also feel that it is in your best interest to help us find the right solution, so we welcome your input.

Thank you for your trust in us to provide you safe and healthy food, and thanks for your commitment to our community and our local farmers. We are honored and humbled to be considered your personal food shoppers, and we truly value the friendships we've created over the years.

Notes on Trades and Orders

Heads up! We've gotten new price lists from a number of our vendors, so please take note in the store, where you'll find the updated prices as they change.

If you have questions or an issue to resolve, please email info@fairshares.org. We don't check the orders@fairshares.org inbox, so if you want a reply, use info@fairshares.org, which goes to both Jamie and Sara, and one of us will see it!

The share clipboards below will include the fresh produce on your list, but the cart in your Farmigo account lists only the tradable items in your share. You must spend the total credit value in your cart but you are welcome to buy extra.

Here's a video demo on how to make trades. Note that Farmigo has updated their system to allow you to click certain items in your cart that have variations for you to select. Here's the link to LOGIN.

Union Loafers Bread

This week, we'll be getting a bread delivery on Tuesday only because of the holiday. Sorry Monday pickup members!

This week we'll have Janie's Bread: Whole Wheat Sourdough using all local wheat from Janie's Mill.

If all the bread doesn't get purchased through the store, we'll offer it outside at the Mothership during pickup.

Please check the descriptions of items! Some things are sold by the pound so the actual price will be different from what's listed in the store. If what's in your bag is not what you were expecting, give it back. If you're at the Mothership, you may be able to choose something else.

Pro Tip: You can browse the store when it's "closed" by logging out of your account.
All members must complete trades and orders by 10:30a.m. Wednesday.
