Bread in Saint Louis is getting a little more local this December! Companion has scaled up our collaborative local grains project and made it available at stores across the metro area. We’re incredibly lucky that the Joshes at Companion (Allen and Galliano) are using their scale of production to have real impact on the local food economy – they are buying 1000s of pounds of grain for this project!
They’re championing the supply side, now it’s up to us to create the demand. Look for the local Oat Porridge Bread in your shares in the next few weeks!
