Schlafly Art Outside at the Bottleworks in Maplewood is coming up, and we need volunteers. I (Sara) say “we” because as a former Schlafly employee and a co-conspirator of the event in its inception 10 years ago, I have volunteered mostly the whole weekend for each and every one of them. So come on down and join me. There is great art, fun music, stuff for the kiddoes, and good beer and food to boot.
Volunteers are needed for Artist Relations, which means checking in on the artists in their booths and booth sitting, or making water, food or beer runs for them. It’s a fun way to meet and mingle with the artists.
The volunteer shifts needed are:
Friday, September 6
noon – 5 (set-up)
5 – 7:30
7:30 – 10:00
Saturday, September 7
noon – 2:30
2:30 – 5
5 – 7:30
7:30 – 10
Sunday, September 8
1 – 4
