Bison Taco Salad
The best thing about using ground bison for taco meat is that the meat is so lean that you don’t need to drain the fat! It’s also higher in vitamin b, zinc, iron, and omega 3 than beef. Winner winner taco dinner. Read more

Cabbage Steaks
The photo looks a bit psychedelic with the purple cabbage and bright green greens, but really, it's food. It's a big, thick, juicy cabbage steak. What? Mmmmm...Trust me on this. The green cabbages we got in this week will be perfect prepared like this.
I recently topped some roasted cabbage steaks with grated cheese and popped them back in the oven to melt, and it was so good, I may have to do that every time, now. Read more

Vibrant Veggie Lentil Soup
Even in the spring and summer I love soup! Its an amazing way to get in more veggies and nourishing broth! I started making my own broth because I was not happy with most products on the market, nor did I want to spend the money on the few I did like.
So about that mushroom broth…I just recently perfected a new broth utilizing some local organic mushrooms from Ozark Forest Mushrooms! I have had the request for a while for a veggie broth, and I decided on a beautiful shiitake mushroom broth that will nurture you and support the immune system. The mushrooms give it both medicinal value but also an incredible depth of flavor!

Herb and flower bedding plants are in the store for pre-order for your following pickup week. We are only offering herbs and flowers for pre-order right now, since vegetables are not ready to plant yet. We will note in the newsletter in the coming weeks when it gets closer to planting time for vegetables. We will offer a variety of tomatoes, peppers, and a few other vegetables, but don't plan to offer a huge variety this year.

Notes on Trades and Orders
If you have questions or an issue to resolve, please email info@fairshares.org. Do not reply to the order confirmation emails that send to orders@fairshares.org account--WE DO NOT CHECK THAT MAILBOX BEFORE PICKUPS, so if you want a reply, use info@fairshares.org, which goes to both Jamie and Sara, and one of us will see it.
The share clipboards below will include the fresh produce on your list, but the cart in your Farmigo account lists only the tradable items in your share. You must spend the total credit value in your cart but you are welcome to buy extra. Any amount over the tradeable value will show as Extra Credit and you will be charged additional plus tax on that amount.
Please check the descriptions of items! Some things are sold by the pound (indicated by /lb. in the item name) so the actual price will be different from what's listed in the store. If what's in your bag is not what you were expecting, give it back. If you're at the Mothership, you may be able to choose something else. This is particularly important on items like bulk chicken breasts, where the item price shows the price per pound, but the package weight may be five pounds.
