Welcome to Fair Shares Season 18, Wk35
Pickups are Monday and Tuesday this week for the Thanksgiving holiday, regular place and time.
Note that the Farmigo system will still indicate Wednesday and Thursday pickups.
Wednesday members will pickup Monday and Thursday members will pickup Tuesday.

Orders are due Monday morning by 10:30. Fair Shares pickup site members may request the other day with an email by 10:30am Monday.
You can pick up either day at the Mothership, we just need to know before we run the reports Monday morning at 10:30 so we have your orders ready on the correct day and location.

Spinach Artichoke Pasta Bake

There’s a style of cooking in Italy that uses leftover cheeses ( formaggio avanzato) so I thought I would try this here. You can use one type of cheese or several. There is no wrong way to make this... Read more

Simple Potato Carrot Gratin
Everyone says sexy food pics entice people to try a recipe, so enjoy!
This simple gratin can be altered, adjusted, seasoned as you see fit, but the simplicity here really allows the pure, delicious flavors of the produce to shine. Plus, heavy cream? I ask you, what could be bad? Read more

Jamie's Thanksgiving Dressing
Our mother's recipe, which Jamie adapted to perfection with happy, local food (and no liver or gizzards). I didn't like it as a child--probably because my mother used the icky bits. This makes awesome cold leftovers, so be sure to make extra! It's great to cut in half and make a turkey sandwich out of it... Read more

Notes on Trades and Orders
If you have questions or an issue to resolve, please email info@fairshares.org. Do not reply to the order confirmation emails that send to orders@fairshares.org account--WE DO NOT CHECK THAT MAILBOX BEFORE PICKUPS, so if you want a reply, use info@fairshares.org, which goes to both Jamie and Sara, and one of us will see it.
The share clipboards below will include the fresh produce on your list, but the cart in your Farmigo account lists only the tradable items in your share. You must spend the total credit value in your cart but you are welcome to buy extra. Any amount over the tradeable value will show as Extra Credit and you will be charged additional plus tax on that amount.
Please check the descriptions of items! Some things are sold by the pound (indicated by /lb. in the item name) so the actual price will be different from what's listed in the store. If what's in your bag is not what you were expecting, give it back. If you're at the Mothership, you may be able to choose something else. This is particularly important on items like bulk chicken breasts, where the item price shows the price per pound, but the package weight may be five pounds.
Pro Tip: You can browse the store when it's "closed" by logging out of your account.
When you pick up, remember to read your bag for any messages. There might be a decision you need to make on something. We don't add the half gallon bottles of milk (or pizza at the Mothership) to your bag, so need to get it when you pickup.

We're so grateful to all our members, volunteers, employees, farmers and food producers and wish everyone a lovely and delicious holiday!
