Welcome to Fair Shares Season 18 Wk34
We'll see all Full Share, Mini Share, and EVEN-week Half Share members this week.
(Note the ODD and EVEN half shares correspond to the odd- or even-numbered weeks of our season.)
Your assigned pickup day is [Delivery Day], but if you ever need to switch the day or location, reply to this email before 10a.m. Wednesday.
LOGIN HERE to select your time and ADD it in your cart. If you don't receive a confirmation email, your order didn't go through. You may update your cart as many times as you like. Your share will be packed for you regardless of whether you make changes or select a time. The time just helps us organize and have your bags ready when you arrive.
Pro Tip: You can browse the store when it's "closed" by logging out of your account, but keep in mind that we update the store inventory on Tuesdays just before sending out the newsletter.

Thanksgiving Schedule and Pre-ordering Info
Pickups are Monday and Tuesday of Thanksgiving week, regular place and time.
Note that the Farmigo system will still indicate Wednesday and Thursday pickups.
Wednesday members will pickup Monday and Thursday members will pickup Tuesday. The newsletter will come out on Sunday the 23rd and orders are due Monday morning by 10:30. Fair Shares pickup site members may request the other day with an email by 10:30am Monday.
You can pick up either day at the Mothership, we just need to know before we run the reports Monday morning at 10:30 so we have your orders ready on the correct day and location.

Cranberry Salad
This sweet, tart, crunchy and nutty cranberry Jello salad may well become a standard on your Thanksgiving table. It's so easy and so good as leftovers.
Jamie's Thanksgiving Dressing
Our mother's recipe, which Jamie adapted to perfection with happy, local food (and no liver or gizzards). I didn't like it as a child--probably because my mother used the icky bits. This makes awesome cold leftovers, so be sure to make extra! It's great to cut in half and make a turkey sandwich out of it... Read more

Pumpkin Soup
Pie pumpkins are so named not just because they are pie sized, but because the texture is firm and less watery than the jack-o-lantern varieties. Did you know that butternut squash is commonly substituted for pumpkin? The flavor of winter squashes are similar enough to be interchangeable in most recipes, but the shape and ease of use will … Read more

Roasted Yellow Tomato Sauce & Spagheeti Squash
This sauce could easily be a delicious soup! I almost went that route but I had a spaghetti squash sitting on the counter. You can add sausage, chicken, or extra veggies to this.

Notes on Trades and Orders
If you have questions or an issue to resolve, please email info@fairshares.org. Do not reply to the order confirmation emails that send to orders@fairshares.org account--WE DO NOT CHECK THAT MAILBOX BEFORE PICKUPS, so if you want a reply, use info@fairshares.org, which goes to both Jamie and Sara, and one of us will see it.
The share clipboards below will include the fresh produce on your list, but the cart in your Farmigo account lists only the tradable items in your share. You must spend the total credit value in your cart but you are welcome to buy extra. Any amount over the tradeable value will show as Extra Credit and you will be charged additional plus tax on that amount.
Please check the descriptions of items! Some things are sold by the pound (indicated by /lb. in the item name) so the actual price will be different from what's listed in the store. If what's in your bag is not what you were expecting, give it back. If you're at the Mothership, you may be able to choose something else. This is particularly important on items like bulk chicken breasts, where the item price shows the price per pound, but the package weight may be five pounds.
Pro Tip: You can browse the store when it's "closed" by logging out of your account.
When you pick up, remember to read your bag for any messages. There might be a decision you need to make on something. We don't add the half gallon bottles of milk (or pizza at the Mothership) to your bag, so need to get it when you pickup.
