Kirkwood Volunteer
|
We want to send a big thanks to Debby Mosely in Kirkwood for stepping up during the pandemic and helping us out at the Mothership and in Kirkwood for these past three years. Grandma duties are superseding her volunteering and we will be seeking additional help if anyone is able to spare a couple hours to help get the food distributed at the church. Enjoy that baby time Debby and thanks for your commitment, we appreciate you! Anyone want to volunteer?

We Need a New Cooler!
We had a cooler go down a few months ago, and now that produce season is ramping up, we are in fairly desperate need of replacing it with more refrigerated space.

We are looking at going the simple and route of buying a used walk-in cooler box and adding a Cool-Bot (air-conditioner unit) to cool the space. Even this economical solution is putting a strain on our cash-flow, and some of you have offered to donate a little dough to help us out.
|

If you would like to do so, just look for any of the Donation items in the online store (various names in several categories), or contact us if you would prefer to make a different form of payment for a donation.

Whenever the fruit arrives, I go a little nuts and have to eat it with every meal: from granola, yogurt and strawberries for breakfast to fruit, nuts and cheese on salad for lunch, to strawberries and cheese on crackers (served with prosecco, perhaps) for hors d'oeuvres, and do we even begin to talk about dessert?

We get nearly 400 order confirmation emails in the orders@fairshares.org account and WE DO NOT ALWAYS CHECK THEM, so if you want a reply, use info@fairshares.org, which goes to both Jamie and Sara, and one of us will see it.

The share clipboards below will include the fresh produce on your list, but the cart in your Farmigo account lists only the tradable items in your share. You must spend the total credit value in your cart but you are welcome to buy extra.

Please check the descriptions of items! Some things are sold by the pound (indicated by /lb. in the item name) so the actual price will be different from what's listed in the store. If what's in your bag is not what you were expecting, give it back. If you're at the Mothership, you may be able to choose something else. This is particularly important on items like bulk chicken breasts, where the item price shows the price per pound, but the package weight may be five pounds.
