Please read this update for two important items.
1). We're Closed the Week after Christmas
Everyone's pickup is affected by the holiday schedule, so please make sure you understand when your pickups are!
- Full-share Members: We'll see you next week, on the 21st or 22nd, and then again on January 4th or 5th.
- Odd-week Half-share Members: We saw you this past week, and won't see you again until January 4th or 5th.
- Even-week Half-share Members: We'll see you next week, on the 21st or 22nd, and then again on January 11th or 12th.
2) Merry Pigmas!

Is everyone ready for the holidays? Sometimes with all the hustle, bustle and expectations we place upon ourselves, we forget the true importance of the holiday spirit: good food and good company! The good company part is up to you, but we know we can help out with the good food. Sorry not to get this info to you earlier, but we have an opportunity to order some fabulous smoked pork goodies from Karlios Hinkebein, for delivery on Wednesday, December 21st. You can pick up your order at your regular pickup this week. Those of you who are odd-week half-share members can order to pick up at your pickup site even though it isn't your week.

- Smoke-cured boneless ham: average 4.5 lb. $26
- Boneless pork loin: half, average 4.5 lb. $26
- Boneless pork loin: whole, average 10 lb. $52
- Smoked Ribs: side, average 2.5 lb. $26
- Smoked Butt: aka pork shoulder, average 9 lb. $32
Niman Ranch
Todd Geisert sells some of his pigs to Iowa-based Niman Ranch. Not technically local, but regional, naturally-raised happy pork. Very few available. Let us know if you want Hinkebein instead if these sell out.
- Half ham, bone in: average 8-9 lb. $5.75/lb.
- half ham, boneless: little bit smaller without the bone $6.86/lb.
